Fair trade for Shea Butter used to mean paying a fair price or wage to the local workers that produces the labour intensive shea butter in the rural African farms. It used to help these workers receive equal employment opportunities and fair wages to help them cater for their own children.

Fair Trade did not used to have the middle agencies involved.

Unfortunately, a growing number of agencies and brokers are reaping the profits that should go to the workers. Fair Trade is no longer fair!

This is why All Naturals Cosmetics Inc has employed the Direct Trade Policy whereby the workers are paid directly for job done and material purchase.

Currently, All Naturals Cosmetics Inc directly trades and supports many women from the Apaola community. This practice ensures that they receive  full payment for Shea Butter sold allowing them to send their children to school.
